ALEXANDER VON SUMMER III Managing Partner Alexander von Summer III joined Alexander Summer, L.L.C. in July of 1997. His current responsibilities as Managing Partner include the management of the internal operations of the company, as well as contributing to the company's marketing and new business development initiatives. In addition, Mr. von Summer is actively involved with the management portfolio of commercial and industrial properties of about 2 million square feet. Prior to joining Alexander Summer, L.L.C., Mr. von Summer held the position of Client Associate at Greenwich Associates, a financial research and consulting firm. His responsibilities included designing and implementing global studies of the fixed-income, foreign exchange, and derivatives market for clients in North America, Asia, and Europe. Mr. von Summer worked with many clients including J.P. Morgan, HSBC, and Goldman Sachs to help them incorporate the results of the studies into their sales, trading, and back-office operations. Mr. von Summer holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College. Prior to joining Greenwich Associates Mr. von Summer completed a two-year post graduate course in Japanese at the Nihongo Kokusai School in Kyoto, Japan.   Return to Previous Page
